Privacy Policy & Personal Data Notice

WUCJ Tools respects user privacy. This policy explains the data that the website, member features, and tool sections may process and the choices available to users.

1. Personal data collection notice

Collector: WUCJ Tools (the operating identity of this website). Contact: wucj1688@gmail.com.

Purposes: member authentication and account identification; syncing favorites and recent tools; storing language preferences; protecting the website and accounts; handling support and bug reports; improving services; and, where applicable, providing and measuring advertising.

Categories of data: when you use Google sign-in, WUCJ Tools may process the Google unique identifier (sub), email address, display name, and avatar URL. Member preferences, favorites, recent tools, and technical security/operations records may also be processed.

Period, region, recipients, and methods: data is generally processed electronically and automatically for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain an account, protect security, or fulfill the relevant purpose. Services may rely on global infrastructure providers such as Cloudflare and Google, so processing may occur outside Taiwan. Data is processed by WUCJ Tools and relevant service providers only as needed for service delivery, security, advertising, or legal obligations.

Your rights: subject to applicable law, you may request access, a copy, correction or supplementation, cessation of collection/processing/use, or deletion. The Member Center provides member-data export and account deletion; other requests may be sent to the contact email above.

Effect of not providing data: you may choose not to create a member account and can still use most free tools, but account-based synchronization and other member features will not be available.

2. Tool input data

Some tools process files or inputs directly in your browser. When a task can be completed locally, the input generally does not need to be sent to a WUCJ Tools server. A tool page will disclose any materially different processing model.

3. Browser storage

When signed out, some features may use localStorage for favorites, recent tools, language preferences, or interface settings. This information is primarily stored in the current browser and can be cleared by the user.

4. WUCJ Member and Google sign-in

WUCJ Member uses Google Identity Services. WUCJ Tools does not receive or store your Google password. Google account information is used to identify the member and provide account features.

5. Member data and Cloudflare

The Member API uses Cloudflare Workers, and member profile data, settings, favorites, recent tools, and session-related information may be stored in Cloudflare D1. Sessions use secure cookies. The backend compares a hashed session value and does not store the raw session token as an audit record.

6. Export, sign-out, and deletion

The Member Center provides data export, sign-out on the current device, sign-out on all devices, and account deletion. After account deletion, directly associated member data is removed according to the service design. Records that must remain briefly for security, troubleshooting, legal needs, or backup cycles are limited to those necessary purposes.

7. PWA and offline cache

Where supported, WUCJ Tools may use a Service Worker to cache static site files for performance or basic offline viewing. Third-party advertising is not intended to be part of the site’s offline cache.

8. Advertising, cookies, and CMP

WUCJ Tools uses or may use Google AdSense. Google or its partners may use cookies or similar technologies depending on location and consent status. See the Cookie & Privacy Settings Policy. Where applicable, privacy messages and consent choices are intended to be provided through Google Privacy & messaging / CMP configuration.

9. Technical and security logs

Cloudflare, browsers, the Member API, or other necessary infrastructure may generate IP addresses, browser information, request timestamps, errors, and security-event records for abuse prevention, security, troubleshooting, and service improvement. WUCJ Tools does not intentionally expand such collection for unrelated purposes.

10. External links and third parties

The site links to WUCJ Tools tool sections, Google, social platforms, and other external services. Third-party data practices are governed by their own policies and terms.

11. Policy updates

This policy may be updated as features, laws, or third-party services change. The current version is posted on this page.
